Trip to the Valley

We went to the valley to visit Heaths family. It was alot of fun. We were able to hangout with our great Grandma Martin in the morning! She is an amazing women and we love spending time with her. We also went to visit our Great Grandpa Dave! We love his stories and can listen to him talk all day. Shelby loved all the dogs at the house... However she was not to sure about the chickens. We loved the trampoline at Grandma Kay's house it was alot of fun, so was spending time with Grandpa Dwight outside. We loved eating Grandma Kay's homemade applesauce and spending lots of time hanging out with her. We cant wait to go down for the Celebration and see what grandma's float looks like finished!

Grandpa Steve and Grandma Lise

Grandpa Steve and Grandma Lise came to visit for the week. Heath and I both had to work for the week and Shelby had no school...so they decided to make the trip out. We are so thankful for that they really helped us out for the week. When we got home from work our nights were busy going out to eat at restaurants in Denver that my Mom saw on "diners, drive- ins and dives" for the most part they were all pretty good, other than the wait! We went to Bass Pro shop intended to buy some fishing poles....however Shelby did not like the "real" stuffed animals in the store so we did not stay to long. She did however love the Denver aquarium and walking around with everyone at the peal street mall up in Bolder. It was so great to see them and we appreciated all the help! Love ya Mom and Dad

lots of growing

So..... we have been busy the last six months. Shelby has been growing like a weed. Heath has been busy with school and work. I have been extremely busy at work and hanging out with our little Shelby and just trying to figure out how to get work and everything done without feeling like I am neglecting my little one. Who I might add is amazing! Which is why I am just getting to updating the blog now.

Shelby is walking like crazy and has been for the past 4 months. She is starting to talk a little! She can say "Hi and Mama" but she calls everyone mama sooo.... not sure if that counts. She will sometimes sign for "milk" and "all done" when she is finished eating. She loves people and smiles at everyone. She is just starting to have separation anxiety which kills me and when I drop her off at work I still want to cry too :)

Christmas was great! Shelby knew exactly what to do with presents and she had no problems ripping apart the paper....we are in for it! We were in Cali and had a wonderful time with family and friends
