pumpkin carving

I managed to get Heath to stop studying and carve some pumpkins with me. He quickly remembered that he does not like the way the inside of the pumpkin feels or smells. I love carving pumpkins but dislike almost everything else pumpkin even pumpkin pie... I do like pumpkin milkshakes though.

Dog Days

Heath & I are dog sitting for his sister. Kona (reddish hair) and Makai (white hair) are lots of fun. Its kinda nice having some dogs around. We are really debating about getting a dog... and this does not make it easy.

GMAT TIme

Heath is preparing for the GMAT! He works full time goes to school at night then comes home and studies~ His test is on November 4 I know he will do great and will do amazing things in life. Graduation is on December 13 we cant wait. I am proud to say that all of his studying has paid off... he will graduate Summa Cum Laude and has been nominated for most Outstanding Senior Student along with 5 other graduates. I love you heath and am so proud of all you have accomplished~

Halloween Candy

I had the day off ( gotta love all the Jewish holidays) and tried to be crafty. I made Halloween candy and candy apples. When heath got home he did not eat any of the candy said he was saving it for later but enjoyed eating the Carmel out of the bowl.

For FHE Heath and I filled in our mail in Ballots. We talked about every issue, looked up the ones we did not know, debated the ones we disagreed upon, and casted our vote to do our part in the democratic election of 2008. They are now in the mail ready to be counted and make a difference. We would like to remind everyone to vote! No matter who you vote for...

So my sister in law Jody suggested I should read these books. When she told me they were about vampires I laughed & did not think I would like them. But I was wrong... I finished all 4 books in 3 weeks I could not put them down! I cant wait to see the movie in November I just hope its as good as the book.

My Parents came to town

My Parents came to visit us. We had a blast. We ate good food, went fishing, watched movies and had some fun shopping. It was so great to see them & we were so glad they were able to come visit us. We hope having to circle in the plane for 30 minutes due to wind before they could land does not keep them from coming back :) ~ We can't wait to see them again at Christmas!

Heath's First Fish

We went fishing while my parents were in town. Heath went fishing for the first time and received fishing lesson from the best fisherman I know. The first day my Dad was the only one who had any luck. So the next day we set Heath up first and he caught 3 little fish in the first 10 minutes. After the 3 he caught his lucky streak was gone! But he was gloating because I still had not caught a fish. Then right when we were about to call it a day I caught a fish and I am proud to say it was the biggest of the little fish.

Fall Colors

My parents came to town and we took a Drive through the Mountain to observe the leaves changing colors. Beside the morning after it snows this is one of the best things about living in Colorado. To be able to experience the season of fall!
