Shelby & Olivia

Olivia is Shelby's good friend from school! So we had her over for a playdate. From play dough to, dress up, to bubbles and painting then add in a snack and a walk it was a busy day after school but we all sure had fun!

Minnesota

We went to Minnesota for my birthday... one of the best birthday ever! We went to visit my cousin Aaron at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester. We had a day to kill before Aaron could pick us up so we spent it at the Mall of America and for the most part if you can believe it I did not buy a thing! LOL We mostly did all the experience in the mall... the amusement park, the aquarium, the house of mirrors (not my favorite) and alot of window shopping. When Aaron met up with us we had a blast we went to the Oxbow park in Rochester and saw a dancing porcupine! Aaron showed us around the Mayo clinic, all the great place he likes to eat and get coffee, we even managed to squeeze in a movie. We had a great home made dinner & breakfast by him and Brianne!

It is always great to spend time with Family. At the end of our stay my cousin Cody flew in for his spring break! It was great to see him as well! Heath, Shelby and I are so lucky to be surrounded by a wonderful Family.

 It was a great weekend next time we just need to take more pictures with Aaron!

 House of Mirrors

The Mall of America Aquarium  

This is the Ball I won at the typical carnival basketball game. I had to include it cause Heath and I made a bet. We each got 3 shoots...Final score Heath 0 Stephanie 1.

 Oxbow Park

 Arron's favorite coffee place... cant remember the name but there was an ice cream shop next door so Shelby had to improvise :)

 We went back to the mall on our last day to eat breakfast at this little crepe stand... Shelby was very excited! They were really yummy

We moved!!!

This was our first home we put so much love and work into this home it was hard to leave! Heath has finished his Master program and is looking for new opportunity, at his current work or in Cali, or over seas.... wherever a good job might take him. We also knew by the time Shelby was 5 and in school we needed to move.... So on March 25 we put our house up for rent with a rental company. they had people look at it over the weekend and we had 5 days to move! Heath said our move in date could be April 1st  and who ever it was took it!!! AWWWWWW it was crazy... but we some how made it through.

However, now we are back to Apartment living at least for a year :( there are some pros to this like I have a 5 min drive home instead of a 25 min and we are close to a pool, and less space to clean. But we are on the second floor, there is no back yard for Shelby or the new puppy to go to whenever they like, sometime our place smells funny depending on what our neighbors are smoking... its like that line from Aladdin "itty bitty living space"  But this is our home for the next year so we will make it as cozy as possible :)

We bought a Puppy!

He is 4 weeks old here! and we do not get to take him home till 12 but we are so excited!

March Fun

March was full of madness at our house  not just the basketball kind. There was a first in our house...Heath won our march madness pick um!! Yes I did just admit defeat remember this it happens rarely... We just had fun enjoying one another.

 I started a cake fight and Shelby finished it!

 I final bought Shelby some cool art stuff with her Christmas money she received... yes I know it is 3 months after Christmas... good thing she has no clue yet :)

 Shelby also discovered her piggy bank and loves counting all her money!!!

Watching her grow is a lot of fun!



Spring snow

We have been waiting for a snow day all winter!!! So glad we finally got one. It does not look like much in our back yard cause of the wind there really is more snow than it appears :) Shelby's favorite part is eating the snow!

Rachel's Wedding

My beautiful cousin got married! It was a gorgeous day for a wedding! The wedding was beautiful and Shelby had lots of fun running around. Congrats Rachel you and Ryan make a great couple!

Trip Home

We went to Cali at the beginning of January to make up for our lost trip at thanksgiving. We visited friends and family. Played apples to apples drove alot from one place to another and managed not to take too many pictures :( We had fun at the San Diego zoo, and at Disneyland and mostly just hanging out at home with family and friends.

We loved the polar bear home at the San Diego zoo!

  Disneyland was so much fun this time with Shelby she LOVED it. It took her awhile to warm up to the the characters, however by the end of the day she was running up to them giving them hugs (To the point where she was cutting in line! OOPS) She did fall asleep on the Pirates.... but loved all the other rides. She stayed awake all day even for the parade at the end of the night.

She also had fun hanging out with all of her boys that are "friends". However there were too many kisses and playing footies for Heath! Oh boy we are in trouble with this little girl :)
