July 24th Celebrations

We had lots of fun on the 24th this year from the parade, to eating at the hamburger stand and going to the motocross to cheer for Heath's brother Brandon and all of his cousins that raced. Heath's mom makes floats for the parade and won sweepstakes this year! Go Mona!

Steph's Utah Trip

I went to see my cousin Heather get married it The Salt Lake Temple. It was a beautiful sealing and it was great to see all of my family/cousins I have not seen in a long time.

I was able to help my Aunt and Uncle with their yard

My Cousin Dahlon & Me. While I was their we played tons of games which I would love to say I won every time but I think he beat me more than I beat him. We also went to see the new Batman movie. It was a great movie however I was most impressed with how we got our seats. When we order our tickets online we were also able to reserve what seat we wanted to sit in. That's pretty cool... theaters out here need to get that in line so I can always have my favorite middle seat.

I was able to see my good friends from high school Tiffany and Julie. These are Tiffany's boys Cody & Logan. I went with her to the doctors while I was out there and we were all excited because she has a little girl on the way. It was so good to see tiff and her family. I treasure her friendship and cant wait to see them again.

I forgot to take my camera to the Pettit house but I have to say Julie is one of my closest friends and I am grateful for her support and love over the years. Julie and her family have always treated me like family. I love them all and am thankful for the examples and experiences they have made in my life.

Camping on the 4th of July

Wet & Wild Summer Days

We went to Water World with Jace, Jody, and Jody's family.

I had to convince heath to come but I knew he would end up having a great day!

The first ride we went on the water was really cold

and the rides seemed to be alot faster and cooler when we were kids

Heath, Shea and I pretended to be seal team five...

then all of us girls acted like the Baywatch babes while the boys laughed at us from behind.

Over all we had a wonderful time on a hot summer day!

Heath was even glad that we went. It reminded me of Cali and all of the summers

I spent with my family at Wild Rivers. I'm glad I have family out here that we can be

silly with and enjoy activities together that I enjoyed as a child.

Nieces & Nephews

This summer we have been able to hang out with our nieces & nephews. They sure are cute and a lot of fun & we love them all & wish we had time to hang out with them more!

Go Kart Racing

Heath went racing with his work and had a blast!

Grand Junction

We took a road trip to Grand Junction to see Heath's brother and his family. The trip there was beautiful. Once we arrived to our destination we met Phil at his office where he is receiving his first experience as a lawyer. We are so proud of him and were impressed when we found his name on the building legend on the first floor. So we took a picture. We just forgot to have him stand next to it. Congrats Phil we cant wait to see where your name ends up next, we know you will do great things in life .

We had fun with the kids and built lots of cool things with all of their Lego's. Heath & Phil were able to go mountain bike riding a few times as well. They had a blast and only hit one speed bump along the way when Phil got a flat tire. Other than that out of the three trails they traveled on Heath enjoyed the river ride the best & hanging out with Phil.

We had a great time hanging out with Phil, Andrea & the kids. Andrea even taught me some great cooking tricks. The ride home was just as beautiful.

Disney World

Heath surprised me for our 5 year anniversary & took me to Walt Disney World for the weekend! It rained on us the entire time but that did not stop us from staying at the park all day & all night. We tried on lots of silly hats, watched fireworks, went to a princess and pirate party, had a spa day and ate lots of delicious food. On the day we flew home the sun finally came out. It was a blast.
