Salmon

So this month I tried to tackle fish. I cooked Salmon for the first time it actually came out pretty well. When Heath came home he asked if he could help in anyway.... it seems like when ever Heath asks to help we are having some type potato so I said start peeling! he was not to happy.

Bob That Head

We went to the Rascal Flatts "Bob that Head" Concert and had a blast. Jessica Simpson opened for them and she did a great job. We could not get a great picture of here though... she stayed at the top of the stage and did not walk around close to where we were. Rascal Flatts was great! They had humorous dialogue in between songs and put on a great show. You could send them a text message before the show to try to win backstage passes. We did not win the passes but our message appeared on the screen. We had a great night! Thanks for the tickets Heath!I Love You

House Sitting

We house sat for some friends. We loved being close to work and enjoyed their dog Porter. They had two cats as well Jasper and Ollie. We are now home and miss the dog but kinda enjoy being pet free!

Valentine's Day

We laid low for Valentine's Day this year. I woke up early (not too early though this is me we are talking about) and made Crepes for the first time. They were delicious I might add Heath even said they were "heavenly" which was nice to hear. Then we spent the rest of the day with each other. We went to the movies and watched "He's Just Not That In To You" it was really cute. If we all had people that were honest with us when we were dating think of all the drama that would not have been in our lives. Anyways we had a wonderful day watching movies and eating delicious food. Happy Valentine's to all we love ya.

Cooking

So now that Heath is home more I'm starting to cook more. I realized I only cook the same boring stuff over and over again which we love to eat... but I decided to broaden my knowledge in cooking and try cooking different things for us at least once a month. So this month I tried Meat Loaf. It actually turned out pretty good for never cooking it before. Here's what it looked like, wish me luck on my cooking adventure.

New Camera

Yeah!! Heath suprised me with a new camera! Well kind of... I could not decide what to use a bunch of christmas gift cards for but the camera was at the top of the list so he just got it for me. Which is good because I would of probably held on to them for a long time.(pretty indecisive these days)But I am so excited to learn how to use my new camera and see all the different aspects of life I can capture!

Sugar Cookies

So I tried to get a little crafty for Valentine's Day. Heath and I made sugar cookies we got a little crazy with the flour and made way to many so we gave a lot away but here are some of our creations




So they are not to impressive but we thought nothing quite said Happy Valentine's Day like a green M&M cookies...

Arena Cross

Heath's cousin Shane came to town with his wife Julie and their son Evan(5yr) For the Arena Cross. My camera punked out on me so I have like no pictures but.. Shane and Evan booth qualified for the big event. Evan took 3rd and Shane came in 4th I think. It was alot of fun and we really enjoyed hanging out with them. It is always exciting going to events when you have someone to cheer for. Here is the only good picture that my camera would allow me to take and its not when either one of them was racing, I think it was one of the pro races.



Now Heath wants to buy a dirt bike and a quad for me... we will have to see what happens...

Goofy Pictures

Heath and I had Jace take our family pictures for 09 now because Heath will have braces soon and he does not want any pictures taken of him when he has braces (so he says). Here are some of the goofy ones... we will put up the one we like best after Jace photo shop's them and makes us look flawless!(haha ya right)

Our Anniversary

For our Anniversary Heath and I spoiled ourselves for the weekend. We went out to dinner and the movies. We ate delicious chocolate covered apples and had a relaxing day at a spa in town. Heath purchased some new basketball shoes & I did a little shopping. Some how we managed to fit all of my favorite things in one day! (shopping, movies, a massage, cheesecake... but most importantly hanging out with heath)
