Back at work :(

I have mixed feeling about this.....I love my job but would rather be with Shelby all day long. I know everyone says you are lucky because you get to have her with you all day long and can go see her whenever you want but....I would rather it be just me with her all day long. The first day / week of work was rough...heath and I cried alittle (me alot) when we dropped her off...she was fine! I am just so grateful I am there with her and that I know the ladies watching over her and they are wonderful

Go Geno

My cousin Aaron had these bracelets made for his dad, our Uncle Geno. We was recovering for hos Cancer treatments and was doing great, however we just found out that it is back with a vengeanc :(

We try to wear our bracelets everyday and say prayers for him every night. We love you Geno!!!

Two Month Check up

We had a great two month check up...even though it was the dreaded shot appointment. Shelby did great she cried for like a minute and then was fine. She has that lower lip pout down pretty well though. I think heath and I were more worried than she was about the shots we probably cried more too. She did great though. She now weights 10lb 11 oz and is 22 in long!

Temple Day with Trevor

Shelby and I waited outside while Heath and his family went through the temple with his youngest brother Trevor as he prepares to leave for his mission.

I had lots of fun with her outside it was a perfect day outside and took lots of cute pictures of my girl but this one had to be my favorite!

Great Grandparents

We drove to Cali to meet the great grandparents...

Everyone was so excited to meet her.

Grandpa Steve

I met my Grandpa Steve for the first time and we had alot of FUN!!

I loved hanging out with him in his favorite spot...and all we would do is look at each other


he always tried to help me clam down at night...

feeding time was lots of fun!

But I had the most fun just hanging out with grandpa in our spot in the backyard

even though he kissed me and his whiskers got my face

It was lots of fun spending time with my grandpa
I could look at him all day long!

Grandma Lise

While I was in Cali I got to spend lots of time with my grandma Lise....she was a big help to mom

She helped put me to sleep
Would dance with me to music to help me clam down

and she changed lots of my Diapers....

thanks grandma cant wait to see you again so we can dance some more!

One Month

Gosh! I can not believe it has been a month!!! Time sure does go by fast when you are not sleeping! We love this little girl so much more than words can describe and are so thankful she is in our lives.

Shelby's Day

So we are adjusting to having are wonderful little girl who is perfect! We sleep a lot and our favorite place to nap is on the couch with Shelby nice and close! Here is a look at mine and Shelby's day after all of our help left.

During the day so far I enjoy my floor time.....

My bouncer until I fall sleep....

and getting my diaper changed!!! I do not like being in a dirty diaper and I usually like to go potty mid change when dad is changing me...it makes mom laugh!
I really like helping dad study when he gets home at night
and getting my bath before its time for bed
Mom figured out early that I love county music and I usually stop crying when she turns it on especially the Zach Brown Band I also stop crying when she takes me outside I love some fresh air. We read books throughout the day and sing lots of songs whenever I am not sleeping and boy do I love to sleep.

We are doing great! I recovered well and am so thankful for all the support from family, work and my church friends with all the meals! Trying to figure out when to cook and do laundry is a whole different story... I am so thankful I have such amazing people in my life. I will need all that support when I have to go back to work...that will be hard at least she will be with me!
