High School Football

High School football playoffs like many football games are iconic and always exciting to watch. Like any college bowl game or the NFL playoff or Superbowl no matter what the outcome whether win or lose the senior players or the whole team is in tears at the end either due to the loss because their season is over or because of the win and all of the bruise, injuries and long hours of torture finally paid off. Their is something special about High School Football though... whether you are cheering for your son, brother, best friend or boyfriend somehow the whole crowd is in tears by the end and it is a day that no one will ever forget. Unfortunately when we went to see Trevor play in his playoff game they lost but he had great plays, hard hits and an exciting season. I can still remember the last football game my senior year unfortunately we lost in the playoffs as well. It was a hard loss but the end of a great season or the end of a great chapter in my life

Tree Decorating

We usually decorate our tree the day after Thanksgiving ~ its tradition. But we will be out of town so... somehow I convinced Heath to put it up early! I love Christmas time(maybe a little to much!)

Happy Birthday Heath

This weekend and today we celebrated Heath's 31st Birthday. It was a fun birthday weekend! We went to the movies, opened lots of presents (including his graduation presents), ate cheesecake, birthday cake and yummy birthday cookies. I love my Husband so much! There is no one quite like him. He sends me flowers at work just to wish we a "happy spring" or just the say "I love you". He helps out with dishes and laundry and always does little things around the house to lighten my load (witch is really nothing compared to his.) He is a hard worker and a focused student with his degree soon coming to an end. Though his time is limited he always manages to make time for me even if its to watch cheesy Christmas movies way before Christmas. I LOVE YOU HEATH HAPPY BIRTHDAY. THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO AND BEING WHO YOU ARE... I COULD NOT ASK FOR MORE!

First snow.

It finally snowed on Friday morning! I was so excited... but it was gone before the blink of an eye. I love the way our house looks with snow on it. Heath was not so excited because he forgot to park his car in the garage! By the time I got home from work on Friday you could not even tell it snowed that morning :( until next time...




(So not quite sure how the big round bubbles appeared in the photo... the snowflakes were not that big! Just for you Californians who do not know what snow looks like! ha ha)

winter scarfs

My wonderful sister in-law is so talented. She made these adorable scarfs for her children. So I copied her idea and had her help me make more for my kids at school.Thanks Jody!They are so quick and easy to make. Layer your fleece sew down the middle and then cut the sides.

pumpkin carving

I managed to get Heath to stop studying and carve some pumpkins with me. He quickly remembered that he does not like the way the inside of the pumpkin feels or smells. I love carving pumpkins but dislike almost everything else pumpkin even pumpkin pie... I do like pumpkin milkshakes though.

Dog Days

Heath & I are dog sitting for his sister. Kona (reddish hair) and Makai (white hair) are lots of fun. Its kinda nice having some dogs around. We are really debating about getting a dog... and this does not make it easy.

GMAT TIme

Heath is preparing for the GMAT! He works full time goes to school at night then comes home and studies~ His test is on November 4 I know he will do great and will do amazing things in life. Graduation is on December 13 we cant wait. I am proud to say that all of his studying has paid off... he will graduate Summa Cum Laude and has been nominated for most Outstanding Senior Student along with 5 other graduates. I love you heath and am so proud of all you have accomplished~
